Getting in the Habit

Uh. Currently sitting at work. Such a great job that I can sit here and do nothing and make above minimum wage. Cleaned my room today. Still needs some work but it went well. New sheets on the bed and all the clothes picked up and put away. Today I woke up at 2am and watched Dragon Ball Z Kai for most of the day. I have cut out League but still need to cut out animes. Dragon Ball Z Kai isn't even that great so I think I will stop watching it. I thought a lot about the game I want to make though. I want to include a mechanic where you learn a skill when you defeat a species of enemy. I checked out different kinds of games I can make. I think I want to do a action rpg. I'll be done with work in about an hour and I can finally go home and sleep! Zach

Update!

Big news. I found out that I can keep my student job as long as I take one or two classes. I am not sure which because people told me different things. My job is really great because I basically just sit around all day and get paid for it. Perfect for taking time off. Beats the hell out of any other part time job. Skipped both my classes today though. I think I am going to drop two of my 4 classes and try to do well in the other two. My advisor has not been very helpful so far. Talked with my friend about going to the gym and creating a work out plan. I should eventually but I don't think that is what I should be focusing on right now.

New Post - I am the Best Blogger Ever

Woo! More posts! So I talked to my parents about dropping out and they weren't too thrilled. Basically, they think I'm depressed because I sleep a lot, wear mostly black, and have a dark room. I also told them I haven't been taking my medication because I think my doctor is insane and nothing has changed on my medical reports for like 4 years. So now my mom is following me around and bringing me pill, which is so embarrassing. She hasn't called me today yet so maybe she quit. (I can dream, can't I?) I also found out that I can keep my student job if I just take one class. Which is great because my student job is way better than any other part time work. I will now be able to focus on the website business and designing my own game. I am going to upload some of the early art in a little bit! Things will my ex-girlfriend are alright. We talk every now and then, but I don't see us getting back together anytime soon. She is headed to Spain for study abroad and I'm taking time off to see what the "real world" is all about. It just wouldn't be a good time for a relationship. That doesn't mean I've counted all the girls out yet though! I recently picked up magic because my roommate wanted someone to play with. I took an immediate liking to green and white. So last night I couldn't sleep so I went downstairs and talked to my roommate for a bit. We talked about our business plan for a little bit and then talked starting about magic. I ended up staying up until 7am (when I had to go to work) building a high mana/draw green white deck. I tested it extensively and am exciting to try it out with Zach(my roommate). I have two tests on Wednesday. I am not looking forward to them. Circuits 1 and Linear Algebra. I haven't been to either class in about two weeks(the last time we had a test). I have taken both classes before and not done well in them. I'm not sure if trying to withdraw from them is a good idea or not. I need to meet with my adviser and see what options I have. I think that's all for today. -Zach

Back to the Blogging Scene

Been a long time since I've updated anything on this website. Reading my last post is pretty funny to me because I have no idea what I was thinking about at the time. It seems one of my last goals was getting in shape. Well, just to update that, that did not happen. If anything its gotten quite a bit worse. But that's not the focus of this post. The point of the post is to detail what's been going on in my life and how this blog is going to change. Currently, I am in my Junior year of college at the University of Pittsburgh. Its become apparent to me that I am not enjoying my time at school and have decided to take some time off. This is a really huge decision for me and I want to log the steps leading up to and during the next few months. This blog will now be about the life of a college drop out. My roomate is also thinking about dropping out and our current plan is to go into business together making websites for companies that do not have them around our area. My parents are coming in tomorrow to talk to me about the decision and what my plan is. I have been reading a lot on how to make money online and will most likely be putting that to use. My ultimate goal is to have a steady stream of income so that I can wake up and not have to worry about fiances and can just focus on what I want to do that day. Seems like a pretty standard American dream. Hopefully, I can make this work out! Since I am just starting with getting back into blogging, I will be working on the layout/design/promotion and my writing style in the coming weeks. Wish me luck! Zach

Gettin' Big

Went to the gym today. Ran/walked 2.25 miles and biked 2.5 miles. Took me 50mins to complete. Just started working out and hoping to make big improvements. Probably only going to work out twice a week but I should be getting more exercise if I start playing hockey and being outside more. So far I failed on all the jewelry I've been working on. So far I've put about 30 bucks into all the stuff. Today I should be able to make the bracelet I've been working on. Might post a picture or something. Gonna go play frisbee tonight. Wooooooooo!

Summer School

First day of summer school was today. I am taking Physics 2 over again at Pitt Greensburg. Hopefully, after taking the class three times I will be able to get an A. So far the class seems pretty easy. It meets twice a week for two hours. I have a lot of time now and am looking for something interesting and productive to do with my time. I've looked into make jewelry and exercising more. Today was fun though, after I got back from class at noon I went over Evan's house and chilled with him and Derek. Then we went to the mall and shopped and I bought an aeropastle shirt. It was a pretty chill day. Then I went home for a little and hung out Dan. Chris, Bree and Alicia. We watched a Twilight parody. It was also chill. Summer is going good so far :)

Mmmm... Summer...

So summer has begun for me, meaning waking up at 2pm everyday and going to sleep at 5am. Pretty good life I think. I just got hired at a Pizza place called Lucci's the other day. Yesterday in fact. I start today at 6. I'm really looking forward to it but I want to get off dish washing ASAP. I would've rather had a more real job than the food industry but oh well. I found out I got a D- in Physics 2 so I am retaking it over the summer. Class starts Tuesday. Its only twice a week though but it does run all summer. Hopefully I can get an A in it and fix my GPA. Prom was last night for all the high school kids. Prom was fun last year, wish there were more dances and stuff like that in college.

AMERICA **** YEAH

Haha all this Osama stuff. Is it weird that I could care less? Guess I just never was affected by any of this war stuff. Does this mean its over? Like I dont actually see whats gonna change now thats he's dead. Also, home from school. I spent my last weekend with my girlfriend for a while. It was a good weekend tho, depsite me being fairly sick. Still sick. Throat hurts like a mother.. So far I got a B and a C for final grades. 3 more rolling in, fairly certain I did not pass physics but I guess we will see. I am really looking forward to next semester. I have my own house that I am living in with a friend Zach and the classes seem more interesting. Just need to find a job now, anyone hiring? ^.^

Happy easter doods. This weekend went pretty well. I basically baricaded myself in my room to study and play video games. It was a good time. Minimal human contact ha. I was gonna go to the pirates game on friday with my fraternity but the game got rained out. Yeah life's boring. First final on Tuesday :OOOOOO

Posting? Eh.

I guess I should start bloggin again. I got kinda bored of it because I was just doing it for adsense but I think I'm just gonna start writing for myself. I mean I always was but ehhh idk. Idk what the point of that statement was. Anyways... Life has been ok. I got elected Interfraternity Council Chairman for Sigma Alpha Mu, Psi chapter and Treasurer for Robotics Club so thats will be cool new responsibilities. Pens playoffs are going on right now along with finals. The playoffs are awesome. They are currently tied 2-2 in overtime. I'm pretty worried about finals. I think I am going to get a D in physics this semester so I need to look at taking it over the summer. It really sucks :/ Never taking a 8am class ever again, no matter what my advisor tells me. My engineering final is tomorrow. Kinda excited for it i guess. Need to finish studying and do good on it. Wish me luck~

Ummm

So like my life has been pretty boring lately. I dont know what to say. I had a boring week of college, well it was stressful as well but thats still boring ha. I'm going to my fraternity's formal tomorrow with my girlfriend which should be fun. Oh! I know what happened this week that isnt completely dumb. I played in a racketball tournament and I got shut out in both games. The kid I played was like really good, although I'll admit I'm not very good either. It was a tournament and well I got knocked out first round. I feel like I'm in the NCAA haha. Speaking of that, GO PITT! :D

Birthday!

It was my birthday yesterday :) had a pretty good day. Unfortunately I had an eye doctor appointment which messed up some of my plans but oh well. I also had to change my windshield wipers and get a haircut but after that it was fun ha. Hung out with some friends and then went out to dinner then chilled at another friends house then went home. I'm having a birthday party tomorrow, I'm pretty excited for it. Well I need to get back to making the playlist, yeahhhhh birthdayyyyyz

Pokemon Black

Yeahhhhh new pokemon game came out today! Its pretty sweet, pretty much the same game as always. So far I have 2 gym badges and I'm hoping to get a few more tonight. Got myself the water started and a pokemon called sawk, he's like the new hitmonchan. I'm trying to beat it in as little game time as possible and perferably as fast as possible but its hard to play for too long. The speakers I got as like huge. Havent measured them but they are really large and heavy. I'm pretty excited to try them out but I have no where to set them up haha. Well I'm gonna get back to being a pokemon master, later.

Spring Break

Yay! It's finally spring break and I'm blogging from the comfortable of my own home. Although sometimes I prefer it at school, as in right now I'd rather be there because all my stuff is still there. I mean I take a bunch of stuff home but it still feels like I live at school and thats where my real home is, which is weird because most people think the opposite. I'm throwing a party next Saturday for my Birthday and I am super excited! I bought about $1000 worth of Dj equipment and am trying to get a business started up. I'm still sick which sucks but I've been on antibiotics for a few days now, hoping it will go away soon and that I start to feel better before the 10th(my birthday :)).

Sick

So I think I'm getting strep throat again. I had it last semester and it appears to be back. And a week before spring break too! :( Hopefully I can get rid of it before then. Going to the doctor Thursday I think. In other news, college is still hard and I still can't manage my time very well. Oh well, that is life ya I suppose.

Currently trying to finish up some differential equations homework but blogging is nice break. I found out that the average on my physics test was really low, all the people I talked to have gotten below a 40 and since I got a 60 I am feeling pretty good about it. The paper is going really well also. We are trying to finish it by Sunday so we can meet with some people and get some reviews. I am surprised how easy it has been to write my conference paper :) I am also planning a party for spring break. I am pretty excited. Birthday rave, gonna be a good time.

Been a While...

Well its been about a week since I last blogged about anything. Ugh. Having trouble keeping up with it for some reason. Oh well, I'll get back into the swing of things. I'm currently in the calm before the storm at school. Spring break is coming up which means tests are coming up. I am not excited. Physics is giving me major problems... I got a 60% on the final. Class at 8am just does not work for me.. All my other classes are going well though. I am nervous for my engineering analysis midterm though.

I'm writing a paper for an engineering conference about robots, anyone have any expertise? Looking for someone that I might be able to do an online interview with. Let me know! Thanks!

Break- Valentine's Day

So turns out writing blow reviews aren't actually fun. :/ I still like the idea but its a lot harder to write about than just writing about my day. So today I'm going to talk about my valentines day. :) First thing that happened was I surprised my girlfriend by hanging a bag full of chocolate on her dorm room door. Then we had lunch together. Then I took her out to dinner at an Indian place. Then we saw "No Strings Attached". It was alright, had its funny moments and whatnot. Then we went back to my room where I laid rose pedals around. I gave her a heart I french beaded. She gave me a Pens banner and fresh baked cookies and ice cream. Then she went back and fell asleep. Overall pretty good day. How was your valentines day?
